Delivery Truck Driver - CDL Class A

About the role

Join our team as a CDL Class A Driver and enjoy a schedule that allows you to be home daily with no nights or weekends.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 6:00am – 2:30pm, plus overtime as needed.

Pay

Starting at $30/hour, with potential for higher pay based on experience. Pay range: $20.22 - $32.30/hour. This role is bonus or incentive plan eligible.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to customers, including loading and unloading with a pallet jack and two-wheel dolly, and ensuring delivery of ticket with material
• Pick up customer returns and validate product match for credit requests
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to supervisor
• Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures
• Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment, as well as receiving, verifying, staging, and stocking incoming material
• Work overtime as needed
• Adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE), such as wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs

Requirements

• Must hold a valid CDL Class A
• 1–3 years of Class A CDL driving experience
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Meet and maintain qualifications for CDL requirements
• Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card
• Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50 lbs
• Background in warehouse operations and logistics (shipping, receiving, and delivery) is a plus
• Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach
• Able to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads
