Delivery Truck Driver - CDL Class A

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to the customer, using a pallet jack and two-wheel dolly to load and unload, and ensure delivery of tickets with materials.
• Pick up customer returns, validate product matches for credit requests.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, refuel the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to the supervisor.
• Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures.
• Aid warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment, as well as receiving, verifying, staging, and stocking incoming material.
• Work overtime as needed.
• Adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must meet and maintain qualifications for CDL requirements.
• Must comply with DOT standards and regulations.
• Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card.
• Must have the ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Preferred experience in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving, and delivery.
• Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads.

Pay

The starting wage is $25.00 per hour and can pay higher based on experience. The pay range is $19.26 - $30.76 monthly for salaried roles or hourly for all other roles. This role is bonus or incentive plan eligible. Ferguson complies with all wage regulations.
