Delivery Supervisor

About the role

We have been serving world-class wines, spirits, beer, and alternative better-for-you beverages throughout the Hawaiian Islands with much aloha since 1988. We cover all the Hawaiian Islands with more than 150 team members through distribution facilities on Oahu, Maui, Kauai, and the Big Island. These locations also serve our customers on the islands of Molokai and Lanai. Our state-of-the-art Hawaii headquarters in Kapolei was completed in 2008 and upgraded with full solar power in 2022, demonstrating our ongoing commitment to the Hawaii community.

This position has primary responsibility for coordinating delivery operations including routing, delivering, and backhauling activities.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and manage assigned delivery driver personnel
• Manage delivery drivers in all aspects including customer service, accuracy, and productivity
• Oversee driver scheduling to ensure timely delivery of product
• Coordinate all safety activities for Delivery staff
• Manage the efficiency of the delivery routes using routing software
• Interface with customers solving discrepancies, problems, and creating a cohesive relationship
• Foster and maintain a collaborative relationship with the sales, warehouse, delivery, and customer service departments

Requirements

• 2-year associate’s degree
• 3+ years of experience in delivery operations
• Familiar with Warehouse Management Systems and barcode scanning technology
• Proficient in the use of RoadNet delivery routing software
• Familiar with GPS tracking software
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Suite and internet applications
• AS400 experience preferred

Pay

The expected pay range for this role is $70k - $80k annual compensation. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. Actual placement within range will be contingent upon several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, education, experience, internal equity, union status (where applicable), and alignment with market data.
