Delivery Specialist - Hub

About the role

Deliver parts and/or products to O’Reilly stores and distribution centers in a safe and efficient manner. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company vehicle to deliver parts and products to stores and/or distribution centers.
• Pick up and sign for stock transfers at each stop on a set route, delivering to the appropriate store.
• Maintain a daily city route manifest for deliveries.
• Keep the fleet/fuel card, vehicle, and keys secure.
• Follow accident report guidelines and ensure designated team members at each store verify all invoices and sign the route manifest.
• Make deliveries according to the set schedule; report any delays to the city delivery supervisor and/or remaining stores on the route.
• Project a professional and personable image to maintain good customer relations.
• Communicate any problems or special needs from stores to store management.
• Clock in/out according to company policy.
• Check fluid levels (e.g., oil, radiator, transmission) and log mileage prior to operating the vehicle each day.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs immediately to the store manager.
• Ensure the fuel tank is filled, and lock and secure the vehicle at the end of the day’s business.
• Drive safely and defensively.

Requirements

• Valid state driver’s license and compliance with company-mandated driving eligibility requirements.
• Driving record must meet the company’s 14/18-point record system standard.
• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Good interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.

Qualifications

• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).
