Delivery Representative - CDL Truck Driver Home Daily

About the role

AmeriGas is searching for an energetic and customer service-oriented Delivery Representative to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering propane to our customers while ensuring the highest standards of safety and service.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a propane delivery truck along provided delivery routes
• Fill residential and/or commercial bulk tanks with propane
• Deliver propane cylinders to commercial/industrial customers
• Perform all daily functions in a safe manner by adhering to all federal and state codes and regulations, as well as AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures
• Consistently use required Personal Prote Equipment (PPE)
• Work 8 to 12-hour shifts based on fluctuating needs

Requirements

• Valid Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements
• Acceptable driving record
• Satisfactory completion of a DOT physical, drug test, and background check
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs

Pay

$26.00 an hour, with additional eligibility for performance-based bonus or commissions. Compensation may vary based on skills, qualifications, degrees, certifications, prior job experience, and market data.

Schedule

• 8 to 12-hour shifts, depending on fluctuating needs
