Delivery Propane Driver

About the role

The Propane Delivery Driver position requires safely driving a propane delivery vehicle to customer locations, maintaining a positive and enthusiastic attitude toward safety, sales, customer service, and teamwork, and making deliveries in all types of weather and conditions, with possible overtime during the heating season. The role calls for dependable, customer‑focused individuals who thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Achieve delivery objectives set by the local District Manager.
• Inspect the vehicle daily and report any problems per company policy and DOT regulations.
• Safely drive a propane delivery vehicle to customer locations.
• Maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude toward safety, sales, customer service, and employee teamwork.
• Prior gas delivery experience is helpful.
• Hold CDL with Hazmat, tanker, and air brakes endorsements.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather and driving conditions.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with existing and potential customers.
• Flexibility to work outside the basic job description.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Desire to succeed and advance in a team environment.

Requirements

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Hazmat endorsement and Tanker endorsement.
• Minimum 2‑year CDL license.
• Ability to frequently lift 50 pounds.
• Pass pre‑employment DOT physical, drug test, and Homeland Security Background Check.
