Delivery Material Handler / Roof Loader (550)

About the role

Delivery Material Handlers at ABC Supply assist in the safe and accurate delivery of materials from the warehouse to each job site location. They unload orders according to customer specifications with the help of various delivery equipment, including truck-mounted forklifts. Handlers specialize in ground and/or rooftop deliveries, physically working on rooftops to complete the job.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
• Assisting with loading products onto rooftops
• Maneuvering delivery vehicles
• Delivering product in non-CDL required vehicles
• Providing superior customer service
• Double checking all loads for accuracy and ensuring they are thoroughly secured for delivery
• Providing warehouse support as needed
• Assisting with delivery of materials to customers or jobsites, including unloading and staging product
• Performing all duties safely

Requirements

• Ability to lift 75-100 lbs consistently
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, and climb ladders throughout a complete shift
• Forklift experience preferred
• Ability and willingness to work on rooftops
• Positive attitude and team player
• Adherence to all safety policies, including wearing safety harnesses and other required equipment

Pay

$24–28/hour, based on experience and qualifications.
