Delivery Material Handler/Roof Loader (1277)

About the role

ABC Supply, the nation’s largest wholesale distributor of exterior and interior building materials, is seeking Delivery Material Handlers. In this role you will assist in the safe and accurate delivery of materials from the warehouse to each job site, unload orders according to customer specifications, and operate delivery equipment such as truck‑mounted forklifts. The position includes ground and rooftop deliveries, with rooftop work requiring physical work on roofs. Responsibilities

• Load and unload delivery vehicles.
• Assist with loading products onto rooftops.
• Assist in maneuvering delivery vehicles.
• Deliver product in non‑CDL required vehicles.
• Provide superior customer service.
• Double‑check all loads for accuracy and ensure they are thoroughly secured for delivery.
• Provide warehouse support as needed.
• Assist with delivery of materials to customers or job sites, including unloading and staging of product at assigned locations.
• Perform all duties safely, adhering to safety policies and using required equipment such as safety harnesses.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 75–100 lb consistently.
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, and climb ladders throughout the entire shift.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Willingness and ability to work on rooftops.
• Positive attitude and team‑player mindset.
• Adherence to all safety policies, including wearing a safety harness and other required equipment.

Pay

$23–$25 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
