Delivery Manager (Logistics)

About the role

Oversees the transportation of products, goods, and materials between distribution centers, customers, and vendors. Leads, plans, and coordinates delivery drivers to ensure safe and efficient operations, manages delivery routes, and supervises all delivery activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, plan, and coordinate delivery drivers
• Ensure safe and efficient delivery operations
• Manage and optimize delivery routes
• Supervise delivery activities and staff
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, miles driven, and fuel receipts
• Ensure compliance with procedures and documentation
• Schedule deliveries and monitor GPS routes
• Manage driver time reports
• Train staff on loading, unloading, and delivery procedures
• Support customer service efforts
• Operate delivery vehicles when necessary

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in warehouse or delivery environments
• Supervision experience
• High school diploma or GED
• Proficiency with computers
• Capability to operate delivery vehicles
• Ability to work safely in various weather and traffic conditions
