Delivery Lead - United States

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the delivery of telecoms infrastructure and transformation projects, ensuring outputs are aligned to business objectives.
• Drive the execution of data centre exit and migration activities, including planning, cutover, decommissioning, and stakeholder engagement to achieve cost and space optimisation.
• Cook up delivery across cross-functional teams, vendors, and third parties, ensuring milestones are achieved on time and to quality standards.
• Monitor risks, dependencies, and issues, implementing pragmatic mitigation and escalation strategies to keep delivery on track.
• Provide clear and consistent reporting to stakeholders, ensuring visibility of progress, challenges, and outcomes at both technical and executive levels.
• Foster a culture of accountability and collaboration across delivery teams, ensuring effective hand-offs and smooth transition into business-as-usual operations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in delivery management or technical project leadership within infrastructure or telecoms programmes.
• Demonstrable experience leading data centre exit/migration or real estate rationalisation programmes.
• Strong background in telecoms infrastructure (SONET/SDH, DWDM, IP, OSP/ISP).
• Prominent skills in coordinating multiple teams, vendors, and delivery streams in complex environments.
• Proficient in delivery frameworks and tools (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid; MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet).

Qualifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or equivalent certification.
• ITIL Foundation certification or understanding of IT service management principles.
