Delivery & Installation Specialist

Duties and Responsibilities

• Loads products into delivery truck properly and securely by using straps and pads to avoid damage during transit.
• Investigates delivery location to ensure the product will be in a safe environment and the product is delivered to the proper person.
• Explains the rental agreement to the customer in some cases.
• Explains and demonstrates the various features and benefits of the product before leaving the home.
• Retrieves products from the homes of customers who choose not to renew the rental agreement.
• Repairs, cleans, and moves products from the stockroom to the sales floor for display.
• Documents and receives customers' payment successfully in the field and store.
• Protects the company image by safely and courteously operating the company vehicles.
• Performs preventative and routine maintenance on delivery vehicles.
• Helps maintain the backroom in a safe, clean, and organized condition.
• Uses equipment to transport product in a safe and damage free manner.
• Maintains complete knowledge of the castle plan, rental agreement, and other benefit plans.
• Responsible for products being complete in all pieces, parts, accessories, and manuals during delivery and pickup.

Qualifications

• Valid state motor vehicle operator's license with evidence of safety and insurability.
• Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 75 pounds.

Physical Demands

• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
