What You'll Do

• Load, deliver, and install equipment to a variety of customer sites for emergency or scheduled events, sometimes requiring long drives or overnight stays.
• Serve customers as the face of Axis on the frontlines, providing professional, respectful service while performing work and/or solving on-site challenges.
• Work with your team by tracking activity and progress, communicating job notes and updates, and keeping everything organized using company-provided technology.
• Uphold our standard by keeping equipment clean, vehicles organized, adhering to professional uniform standards, and delivering industry-leading customer service.

Requirements

• 1+ years of commercial driving experience preferred; experience in box-trucks and sprinter vans is a plus.
• A 5-year clean driving record is required.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card.
• Physical demands: work indoors and outdoors, often in extreme heat or cold, handling physical tasks such as lifting, pushing, or pulling 25+ lbs., and comfortable working on ladders.
• Effective communication skills with strong problem-solving abilities and a professional demeanor.
• Comfortable with mobile devices, tablets, and laptops; able to navigate apps, complete digital records, and communicate with customers.
• 1+ year of HVAC technician experience preferred.
• Strong desire to deepen your expertise in HVAC diagnostics, service, and responsibilities, taking on more complex challenges with each year of employment.

Schedule & Work Environment

• Regular schedule with availability for rotating on-call shifts — including emergency client requests on nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Seasonal demand: more overtime opportunities during peak summer/winter seasons, and readiness for emergencies like wildfires, hurricanes, heat waves, and winter storms.
• On the road: responsible for transporting equipment to customer sites — from quick local drop-offs to multi-hour trips, driving solo or alongside a teammate.
• Varied work environments: from retail stores to challenging settings like construction projects and manufacturing plants. Time unloading and installing equipment can take anywhere from a few minutes to a full day.
• Warehouse: when not on the road, unboxing, testing, preparing, and cleaning equipment so it and your team can always be ready for the next job.

Pay

$17.00 - $25.00 per hour, based upon experience. Full-time, hourly position with overtime opportunities.
