Delivery & Install Technician

What You’ll Do

• Load, deliver, and install equipment to a variety of customer sites for emergency or scheduled events, sometimes requiring long drives or overnight stays.
• Be the face of Axis on the frontlines, providing professional, respectful service while performing work and/or solving on-site challenges.
• Track activity and progress by communicating job notes and updates with your team, keeping everything organized using company provided technology.
• Keep equipment clean, vehicles organized, and adhere to professional uniform standards while delivering industry-leading customer service.

What It Takes

• Driving Experience: 1+ years of commercial driving experience preferred; experience in box-trucks and sprinter vans is a plus. A 5-year clean driving record is required.
• DOT Medical Card: The ability to obtain and maintain a DOT medical card.
• Physical Demands: Work indoors and outdoors, often in extreme heat or cold, handling physical tasks such as lifting, pushing, or pulling 25+ lbs., and comfortable working on ladders.
• Communication Skills: Effective communicator with strong problem-solving abilities and a professional demeanor.
• Technology Skills: Comfortable with mobile devices, tablets, and laptops; able to navigate apps, complete digital records, and communicate with customers.
• HVAC Experience: 1+ year of HVAC technician experience preferred.
• A Desire to Grow: Strong desire to deepen expertise in HVAC diagnostics, service, and responsibilities, taking on more complex challenges with each year of employment.

When & Where You’ll Work

• Weekly Schedule & On-Call Requirements: Regular schedule with availability for rotating on-call shifts — including emergency client requests on nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Seasonal Demand: More overtime opportunities during peak summer/winter seasons, and readiness for emergencies like wildfires, hurricanes, heat waves, and winter storms.
• On the Road: Transporting equipment to customer sites — from quick local drop-offs to multi-hour trips, driving solo or alongside a teammate.
• Varied Work Environments: Work in retail stores, construction projects, manufacturing plants, and other settings. Time unloading and installing equipment can range from a few minutes to a full day.
• Warehouse: When not on the road, unbox, test, prepare, and clean equipment so it and your team can always be ready for the next job.

Pay Range: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour, based upon experience. Full-Time, Hourly with Overtime Opportunities.
