Responsibilities

• Operate all store equipment.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler.
• Prepare product and receive/process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
• Deliver pizzas and beverages to customers within a designated area.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.
• Navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and private homes, while carrying product.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver's license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle for deliveries.
• Navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use a calculator).
• Ability to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination for rapid and precise movements, including using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Far and night vision for safe driving.

Work Conditions

• Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when performing outside tasks or deliveries.
• In-store temperatures range from 36°F in the cooler to 90°F or above in some work areas, with sudden temperature changes.
• Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters, and hot surfaces/tools (up to 500°F or higher).
• Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts in the work environment.

Physical Requirements

• Standing: Most tasks are performed from a standing position on ceramic tile or linoleum floors.
• Walking: Short distances for short durations, including between the store and delivery vehicle.
• Sitting: Paperwork is completed at a desk or table.
• Lifting: Unloading bulk deliveries (up to 50 pounds) and stacking onto shelves up to 72" high.
• Carrying: Large cans (3 lbs, 7 oz), pizza sauce (30 lbs), trays of pizza dough (12 lbs per tray), and pizzas/beverages during delivery.
• Pushing/Pulling: Moving trays on dollies (requiring up to 7.5 pounds of force).
• Climbing: Navigating stairs or ladders for tasks like changing prices or performing maintenance; may require climbing five or more flights of stairs during deliveries.
• Stooping/Bending: Forward bending at the waist (e.g., pizza assembly, stocking ingredients).
• Crouching/Squatting: Occasionally to stock shelves or clean low areas.
• Reaching: Continuously in all directions (up, down, forward) for tasks like turning on oven controls, scooping ingredients, or answering phones.
• Driving: Delivering pizzas within a designated area, potentially making several deliveries per shift.
