Responsibilities

• Operate store equipment and handle ingredients.
• Stock ingredients from delivery areas to storage and work areas.
• Prepare product and receive/process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility daily.
• Deliver pizzas and beverages to customers within a designated area.
• Navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and private homes.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle for deliveries.
• Navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide quickly and accurately.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to process orders.
• Motor coordination for rapid and precise movements (e.g., using a keyboard or touch screen).

Work Conditions

• Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions (e.g., delivering in rain, heat, or cold).
• In-store temperatures range from 36°F in coolers to 90°F or higher in work areas.
• Exposure to fumes from food odors, cornmeal dust, and cramped quarters (e.g., walk-in cooler).
• Hot surfaces/tools (e.g., ovens up to 500°F or higher) and sharp edges/moving mechanical parts.
• Tasks require standing for extended periods on ceramic tile or linoleum floors.
• Frequent walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs), carrying (e.g., trays of dough, pizza sauce), pushing, and climbing (e.g., stairs, ladders).
• Stooping, bending, crouching, squatting, and reaching (up, down, and forward) are required for various tasks.

Physical Requirements

• Standing: Most tasks are performed while standing on ceramic tile or linoleum surfaces.
• Walking: Short distances for short durations, including between the store and delivery vehicle.
• Sitting: Paperwork is completed at a desk or table.
• Lifting: Cases of ingredients/supplies up to 50 lbs, lifted from the floor and stacked onto shelves up to 72" high.
• Carrying: Large cans (3 lbs, 7 oz), pizza sauce (30 lbs), trays of pizza dough (12 lbs per tray), and pizzas/beverages during delivery.
• Pushing/Pulling: Trays on dollies (requiring up to 7.5 lbs of force).
• Climbing: Stairs or ladders for maintenance, price changes, or delivering to multi-story buildings.
• Stooping/Bending: Forward bending at the waist (e.g., pizza assembly, stocking ingredients).
• Crouching/Squatting: Occasionally for stocking shelves or cleaning low areas.
• Reaching: Continuously in all directions (e.g., turning oven controls, scooping ingredients, answering phones).
