Responsibilities
- Operate all store equipment.
- Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler.
- Prepare product and receive/process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
- Navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, to deliver orders.
- Use navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
- Access to an insured vehicle for deliveries.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use a calculator).
- Must be able to make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination for rapid and precise movements (e.g., using a computer keyboard or touch screen).
Skills
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and co-workers.
- Near and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks, including depth perception.
- Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
- Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone or with others, work under stress, and meet quality control standards.

Work Conditions
- Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when performing outside tasks.
- In-store temperatures range from 36°F in coolers to 90°F or higher in some work areas, with sudden temperature changes.
- Exposure to fumes from food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters (e.g., walk-in cooler), and hot surfaces/tools (up to 500°F or higher).
- Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
