About the role

The Google Cloud Consulting Professional Services team guides customers through the moments that matter most in their cloud journey to help businesses thrive. We help customers transform and evolve their business through the use of Google’s global network, web-scale data centers, and software infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Manage an overview of project goals and deliverables presented on a timeline and use the roadmap to manage stakeholder expectations, and to communicate plans and coordinate resources.
• Collaborate with team members or stakeholders to understand or identify work problems and program goals, obtain prioritized deliverables, and discuss program impact.
• Complete (e.g., budget, schedule, resource, technical) risk identification and risk assessment activities and mitigation plans in addition to monitoring foreseeable risk, and recording its evolution and influence on project/program objectives.
• Establish and track processes in collaboration with stakeholders, hold stakeholders/teams accountable for following the established processes, identify sponsors and stakeholders and secure resources, ensure work alignment with compliance/privacy policies, identify opportunities, implement process improvements, and support/promote the adoption of processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in program management, client services or management consulting.
• Experience delivering enterprise digital transformation projects to customers (e.g., cloud migrations or multi-cloud transformations across data warehousing and analytics, application development, or cyber-security solutions).

Qualifications

• Preferred: MBA or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Preferred: Certification in program management.
• Preferred: Experience leading cloud-based transformation programs and software development solutions while working with new and emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the cloud and broader enterprise technology transformation space.
• Preferred: Experience in program management with a technology company while collaborating with channel partners, systems integrators, and third-party developers to deliver high-impact solutions.
• Preferred: Experience with programs pertaining to data and analytics systems and implementations.
• Preferred: Experience in stakeholder management with the ability to identify, collect, and analyze relevant data to help drive informed decisions.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. US: $211000 - $294000 (USD) + 25% bonus target + equity + benefits
