Responsibilities
- Makes deliveries in company van or box truck
- Unloads materials at jobsites and carries into building
- Occasionally assists installers as needed
- Stages equipment for installers and project managers by project number and location
- Keeps the warehouse clean and presentable, breaks down boxes and empties trash
- Operates fork truck to move product or unload deliveries
- Tracks product shipments
- Aids in inventory management
- UPS/FedEx materials as needed
- Palletizes/crates material for LTL shipping
- Assists project managers as required
- Follows up on backordered equipment
- Complies with all safety regulations
Requirements
- Passes all pre-employment background investigations and drug tests
- Capable of lifting in excess of 50 pounds, sitting for extended periods, climbing steps and ladders
- Clean driving record
- Excellent interpretation skills and ability to communicate with various stakeholders
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
- Reliable transportation
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic literacy and computer skills
- Fluent in English
- Willingness to take on additional assignments as directed
- Previous experience with door hardware or electronic security equipment is a plus
