Delivery Driver: Warehouse - DMV Driver Record Required

Job Summary

The job of “Delivery Driver” is done for the purpose/s of receiving, storing, shipping, issuing and delivering instructional materials, other supplies and equipment to designated points in the District.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Valid California Driver License and ability to obtain/maintain insurability under the district's vehicle insurance policy.
• One (1) year experience operating a motor vehicle, forklift, warehousing and storage involving receiving, storage and issuing of supplies; good driving record.
• Skills to safely drive utility vehicle.
• Knowledge of safe and efficient procedures for truck operations, loading and delivery.
• Proper methods of storing materials and supplies.
• Ability to walk for prolonged periods, understand and carry out oral and written instruction, drive for extended periods, read maps and schedules, adhere to route schedules, maintain written records.
• Significant physical abilities: lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling, stooping/crouching, reaching/handling, talking/hearing conversations, far visual acuity/depth perception/visual accommodation/field of vision.
• Ability to lift 55 lbs. frequently (1/3 to 2/3 of the time).
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• For current LEUSD CSEA employees seeking a voluntary lateral transfer: must be a permanent employee for at least two years prior to the vacancy, provide a supervisor recommendation dated within six months, and meet the lateral transfer rules outlined in the posting.

Salary Pay Range: $4,005 - $5,260 Monthly

Schedule

• Shift: 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
• Length of Work Year: 8 Hours Per Day, 244 Days Per Year
