Delivery Driver/Warehouse

About the role

Worldpac, a leading name in automotive parts distribution, seeks a Delivery Driver/Warehouse team member to manage established routes for delivering products and picking up returned merchandise. This role also encompasses all shipping and receiving functions within the branch.

Responsibilities

• Uses vehicle to deliver orders or pick up returned merchandise in a safe and courteous manner.
• Create and maintain records as needed.
• Dispatch, confirm customer order and generate delivery manifests and receiving documents.
• Sorts, organizes and prepares merchandise from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas, by part and quantity.
• Ensures customer orders are located, picked up and signed for.
• Collects funds from customers if needed and maintains all necessary documents.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable MVR per company standards.
• Capable of safely operating equipment, such as forklift and pallet jack.
• Consistent and reliable attendance.
• Proficient in basic math skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school/secondary school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Physical/Work Environment Expectations: Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, high places, fumes, or airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals. Noise level is generally high (loud). Requires standing, walking, using hands and fingers, reaching, talking, and listening. Stooping, kneeling, and crouching are frequent, while occasional sitting, climbing, and balancing are required. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 50 pounds, and occasionally up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.

Generally, we look to bring in candidates around the 50th percentile of the advertised range. However, this is never a guarantee.
