Delivery Driver/Warehouse

About the Role

Worldpac, a leading name in automotive parts distribution, is looking for a Delivery Driver/Warehouse team member to drive established routes, deliver products, and pick up returned merchandise from customers. This role also involves fulfilling shipping and receiving functions within the Branch.

Responsibilities

• Uses vehicle to deliver orders or pick up returned merchandise in a safe and courteous manner.
• Creates and maintains necessary records.
• Dispatches, confirms customer orders, and generates delivery manifests and receiving documents.
• Sorts, organizes, and prepares merchandise from receiving or production areas to storage or designated areas by part and quantity.
• Ensures customer orders are located, picked up, and signed for.
• Collects funds from customers if needed and maintains all necessary documents.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school/secondary school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Eligible to work within the country of application.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR) per company standards.
• Meets all state/province-specific driver’s license requirements for delivery duties.
• Ability to operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Proficient in basic math skills and computer use, including handheld radio frequency devices.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Physical/Work Environment Expectations

The role involves regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and occasional exposure to high places, fumes, airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level is generally high. Physical requirements include standing, walking, using hands and fingers, reaching, talking, and listening. Frequent stooping, kneeling, and crouching, with occasional sitting, climbing, or balancing. Regularly lifts/moves up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 50 pounds, and occasionally up to 100 pounds. Requires close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.

Pay

Posted Salary Range: USD $15.75 - USD $21.00 /Hr.
