About the Role

This general description applies to all Delivery Experts. The role involves greeting walk-in customers, taking delivery and carryout orders over the phone, cleaning, and making deliveries.

We expect team members to be hardworking, personable, friendly, punctual, and able to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Greet walk-in customers and take orders in person.
• Process delivery and carryout orders over the phone.
• Maintain cleanliness of the workspace.
• Make timely and accurate deliveries to customers.
• Run, jog, or speed walk to and from the car for all deliveries.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and a working vehicle.
• Good driving record.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders over the phone and in person using a touchscreen computer system.
• Clear and upbeat speaking voice for customer interactions.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) for accurate monetary transactions.
• Motor coordination for rapid and precise movements.
• Navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.

Training

Orientation and on-the-job training provided. Includes road training with a Certified Delivery Trainer to practice deliveries.
