Delivery Driver - Part-Time - Non-CDL
About the Role
As a Delivery Driver, you'll be responsible for the safe and professional delivery of finished cutting dies and related products to our customers across an assigned multi-state route. This is an on-call position — shifts are scheduled based on production output and customer delivery windows rather than a fixed weekly schedule. Drivers typically depart between 9-10 PM, with shifts ranging from 2.5 to 10 hours depending on the route.
Typical delivery areas include but are not limited to: York, PA | Biglerville, PA | Macungie, PA | Hazleton, PA | Dover, DE | Cambridge, MD | North Haven, CT | Binghamton, NY.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload finished cutting dies into delivery vehicles and at customer docking/storage areas on a regular, repetitive basis
- Follow assigned delivery routes accurately and efficiently
- Obtain customer signatures and maintain accurate delivery records
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections; refuel and maintain assigned vehicles
- Represent Stafford professionally at all times, adhering to company dress code
- Report any delivery issues, incidents, or concerns to the appropriate supervisor
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to regularly lift, carry, and maneuver items up to 75 lbs — loading and unloading cutting dies is a core, physically demanding part of this role
- Ability to drive extended distances (routes may be up to 10 hours)
- Must be available on an on-call basis with late-evening/overnight departures (typically 9-10 PM)
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
