Delivery Driver North Spokane

About the role

This position is for applicants wishing to work at our North Spokane locations: Shadle Park, Hillyard, or N Division at the Y. The main responsibility of a Domino's Pizza Delivery Driver is to deliver orders to designated locations on time with punctuality and honesty. Delivery Drivers are expected to know how to read a basic road map and ensure orders are delivered correctly and courteously.

Delivery Drivers also assist in food preparation, taking customer orders, cleaning duties, and rotating food shipments, which may include lifting up to 50 pounds. They must be knowledgeable about product details, services, charges, and other related information to assist customers as needed.

While performing duties, team members may work outdoors in various temperatures, in noisy environments, near moving mechanical parts, with dangerous equipment or sharp tools, and around fumes, odors, dust, or toxic chemicals. The role can be physically demanding, requiring repetitive hand use, prolonged standing, bending, twisting, reaching, crouching, stooping, or kneeling.

• Pre-delivery vehicle preparations

• Cleaning and maintenance of the store and its equipment
• Rotating commissary deliveries

Requirements

• Attention to detail

• Cash management skills
• 18 years of age or older
• Valid driver’s license for two or more years in the state where employed
• Acceptable motor vehicle report/driving abstract (no more than two moving violations and one accident in the last year; no DUI or speeding tickets over 24 mph)
• Insured and satisfactory vehicle
• Ability to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and as emergencies arise
• Willingness to learn and be cross-trained for other restaurant duties

Pay

Wage for Delivery Drivers is $17.13–$18.10 per hour, plus reimbursement for miles driven at $.44 per mile (based on a third-party surveyor’s recommended rate), reimbursement for data usage, and any credit card/cash tips paid by customers.
