Pay
- Average weekly pay: $1,075–$1,200
- Paid weekly
- 49 hours per week
Schedule
- Monday – Friday
- AM dispatch
- Dedicated home daily
About the role
- Deliver solo routes in WI, IL, IA, MN
- Tractor type: straight truck
- Trailer type: 20–26' straight trucks
- Equipment: pallet jack and liftgate
- Ryder provides paid training on all equipment
- Freight: touch – auto parts
- Trucks are 36 months or newer with 24/7 roadside maintenance and nationwide fueling at over 800 locations

Requirements
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Minimum of 6 months of verifiable driving experience
- Pass a Ryder drug test
- Verifiable driving experience in like equipment:
- 6 months experience in the past 3 years, OR
- 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR
- 5 years' experience within the last 10 years
- Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
- Pass a DOT physical
- Pass a Ryder road test
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and/or procedures
Note: This position does not require the operation of CDL-regulated equipment. However, candidates who possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License will be subject to FMCSA requirements, including a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse query.
Responsibilities
- Safely drive a vehicle within and comply with safety regulations, continuous training, and customer service
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards, and guidelines
- Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards
- Maintain accurate records
- Load/unload freight or assist in loading/unloading if required by customer
- Other tasks as assigned
