- Monday – Friday
- Start Time: 4:00 AM

Requirements
- Minimum age: 21 years
- At least 6 months of verifiable driving experience
- Pass a Ryder drug test
- Verifiable driving experience in the same equipment type (e.g., straight truck or box truck): 6 months in the past 3 years, or 2 years in the past 5 years, or 5 years in the past 10 years
- Pass a Ryder background and motor‑vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
- Pass a DOT physical
- Pass a Ryder road test
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
- Note: This position does not require a CDL; however, candidates with a CDL will be subject to FMCSA requirements
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a vehicle on local routes while complying with safety regulations, continuous training, and customer service standards
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, agency rules, standards, and guidelines
- Detect, eliminate, or minimize safety hazards
- Maintain accurate records
- Load and unload freight, or assist with loading/unloading when required by the customer
- Perform other tasks as assigned
