Delivery Driver - Non-CDL - Atlantic Tire Distributors

About the role

Atlantic Tire Distributors is expanding fast and is seeking dependable, motivated drivers to join our growing team. Positions are available in Ridgeville, SC.

Responsibilities

• Drive a light vehicle, such as a truck, with a capacity of less than 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW), primarily to deliver or pick up tires.
• Report on any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles.
• Properly document goods delivered or loaded.
• Load and unload trucks
• Verify the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers.
• Maintain records, such as vehicle logs, records of cargo, or billing statements, in accordance with regulations.
• Read maps and follow written or verbal geographic directions.
• Report delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations to bases or other vehicles, using telephones or mobile two-way radios.

Qualifications

• Valid drivers license and a good driving record.
• Must be able to pass a D.O.T. Physical.
• Must be 21 years of age.

Pay

Starting at $20 - $22 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule

Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM 3:30 PM

Work Environment

• While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles and outside weather conditions.
• The truck may or may not be air conditioned/heated seasonally.
• The employee must regularly lift up to 100 pounds, frequently lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
• Specific visions abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
