Delivery Driver - Non-CDL

Schedule
- Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM – 10:00 AM start (route completion determines end time)
- Rotating Saturdays
- Schedules subject to change based on business needs and may require overtime
- Expected work hours: approximately 8–12 hours per day
Responsibilities
- Drive a box truck under 26,001 pounds or other vehicles on assigned routes, making 10–20 deliveries per day
- Complete and maintain accurate records and logs, including driver’s logs, fuel purchase logs, and other required documentation
- Make on-time deliveries safely and punctually in all weather conditions
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Lift 50 pounds consistently throughout the shift and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds (team lifts or mechanical equipment used for commercial tires)
- Exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds when handling barrels or industrial/agricultural tires
- Assist in loading/unloading trucks and operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers as needed
- Operate a handheld device to ensure all deliveries are fulfilled
- Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and management
- Collect payments from customers upon delivery

Requirements
- Must be 21 years or older
- 1 year of professional driving experience (cube van, box truck, or semi) and satisfactory completion of company road test
- Ability to be trained and safely use powered industrial trucks (forklifts) and high-reach lifts
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record in compliance with company policy
- Ability to safely lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds
- Ability to exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds when working with barrels or industrial/agricultural tires
- Ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures
- Demonstrated ability to provide quality customer service
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test (THC/marijuana not tested)
- Valid DOT Medical Card per DOT/FMCSA guidelines

Physical Demands and Work Environment
Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee must meet visual, auditory, physical, and mental ability requirements to operate equipment safely, with or without reasonable accommodation. Frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds and occasional lifting of up to 80 pounds is required. Team lifts or mechanical equipment must be used for commercial tires. Occasionally, a pushing force of up to 40 pounds is required when working with barrels or industrial/agricultural tires.
Protective equipment required: Steel or composite toe boots (employee-provided), safety vest, safety harness, seatbelt, and self-retracting lifeline (SRL). All other equipment is provided by U.S. AutoForce. Team members must adhere to safety and manufacturer guidelines for compliant use of all protective equipment.
Work environment: The employee may be exposed to prevailing weather conditions. The noise level is usually moderate. Exposure to fumes associated with tires, car parts, and lubricants may occur.
