Delivery Driver non CDL
Position Summary
U.S. AutoForce, a division of U.S. Venture, Inc., offers a dynamic role for experienced drivers to manage tire, undercar parts, and lubricant deliveries. The schedule includes Monday-Friday shifts from 6:30am-3:30pm or until deliveries are completed, with potential for overtime.
Job Responsibilities
- Drive a box truck under 26,001 pounds or other vehicles during multiple routes, making 10-20 deliveries per day.
- Maintain accurate records and logs, including driver's logs, fuel purchase logs, and other required documents.
- Make on-time deliveries to customer locations in all weather conditions, ensuring safety and punctuality.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle being driven.
- Lift products weighing up to 80 pounds consistently, and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
- Assist in loading/unloading trucks and operate equipment such as forklifts and order pickers when necessary.
- Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and management, and collect payments upon delivery.
- Operate a handheld device to fulfill deliveries.
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years or older.
- At least 1 year of professional driving experience (cube van, box truck, or semi).
- Valid driver's license and good driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to provide quality customer service.
- Pass a pre-employment drug test.
- Valid DOT Medical Card or the ability to obtain one.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Visual, auditory, physical, and mental abilities to operate equipment safely.
- Frequent lifting of products up to 50 pounds, occasionally up to 80 pounds.
- Occasional lifting up to 80 pounds, exerting a pushing force up to 40 pounds.
- Exposure to weather conditions, moderate noise levels, fumes from tires and car parts/lubricants.
- Protective equipment required: steel or composite toe boots, safety vest, safety harness, seatbelt, SRL (self-retracting lifeline).
