Delivery Driver (Non-CDL)

About the role

MacArthur Co. is a 100% employee‑owned national distributor of building materials. As a Non‑CDL Driver you will deliver building materials to job sites and customer warehouses accurately, safely, and on time, maintain appropriate licensing and an acceptable driving record, and perform warehouse duties in both inside and outside work areas.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate, safe, and on‑time delivery of building materials (HVAC, insulation, roofing) to industrial, commercial, and residential locations.
• Follow the daily operations schedule and adjust to customer needs.
• Provide quality service and support to customers.
• Ensure orders are free of damage and report issues to management.
• Band, wrap, or package material for shipping.
• Assist in loading correct materials onto trucks.
• Inspect loaded trucks for order accuracy, weight restrictions, and proper securing.
• Safely operate all necessary equipment in the work area.
• Help coordinate deliveries and maintain inventory levels.
• Work collaboratively with the team, building consensus in decision‑making.
• Meet delivery schedules while providing friendly, professional service.
• Organize and clean warehouse and yard work areas.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of prior driving experience.
• Acceptable driving record and a current driver’s license.
• Willingness to roll up sleeves and assist with various tasks.
• Adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Proper use and maintenance of equipment.
• Ability to lead by example with expertise in a relevant area.
• Support a fast‑paced environment with multiple simultaneous projects.
• Knowledge of roofing, HVAC, and mechanical insulation is preferred.
