About the Role

The Delivery Driver role is a crucial part of achieving our mission of making healthy food more accessible for everyone. You’ll deliver food to our wholesale retail partners and Smart Fridges, own your route, ensure deliveries are sent to the correct address and time window, and provide the best possible delivery experience. You will be the face of Farmer’s Fridge, requiring a positive and professional attitude. Drivers safely and efficiently maneuver city streets in a company‑owned refrigerated van, deliver food to customers, fridges, and retail partners, and use the Farmer’s Fridge mobile app to communicate completed deliveries. Success is measured by consistent on‑time deliveries and adherence to delivery processes.

Responsibilities

Deliver food to wholesale retail partners and Smart Fridges.
Own and manage your delivery route, ensuring correct address and time window.
Maintain a positive, professional demeanor as the public face of Farmer’s Fridge.
Operate a company‑owned refrigerated van safely and efficiently.
Use the Farmer’s Fridge mobile app to log and communicate completed deliveries.
Follow delivery processes and strive for on‑time performance.

Requirements

Professional driving experience, preferably with food shipments using a refrigerated vehicle.
Ability to use technology such as Gmail, Slack, iPads, and mobile apps.
Functioning smartphone.
Basic mechanical knowledge for minor repairs to vans or smart fridges.
Ability to read and understand delivery instructions.
Capability to lift at least 50 pounds.
Non‑CDL driver status.
