Pay

$17–$19 per hour plus weekly overtime.

Responsibilities

• Deliver material to customer job sites
• Build loads for delivery and unload freight, including lumber and building supplies
• Operate forklifts (training and certification provided)
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized lumber yard and warehouse
• Communicate delays or discrepancies with management
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• At least 21 years old
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid state-issued driver’s license and safe driving record
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the public, understand traffic signs, and complete reports
• Physically qualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle under Federal Motor Carrier Safety Act regulations
• Annual submission of Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and list of violations
• Completion of a driver’s road test and possession of a valid certificate, or its equivalent
• Depending on the truck/hauler, a commercial motor vehicle license and/or Medical Exam certificate may be required
