DME Express is experiencing rapid growth and seeks dependable Delivery Drivers / Medical Equipment Technicians to join its team. The company provides essential medical equipment to hospice patients.

About the role

As a Delivery Driver / Medical Equipment Technician, you will ensure that hospice patients and their families receive necessary medical equipment in a timely and professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Determine or obtain the best daily delivery route.
• Assemble, deliver, and pick up required medical equipment.
• Educate patients and families on the proper use of equipment.
• Provide patient/client orientation and instructions on equipment use when applicable.
• Complete the delivery and pickup process through the company app promptly and accurately.
• Work directly with patients and clients to resolve equipment-related concerns.
• Demonstrate timeliness, courtesy, sincerity, and patience when interacting with clients.
• Assist with cleaning, disinfecting, and minor repairs of medical equipment.
• Maintain appropriate stock levels and high standards of cleanliness in the warehouse and delivery vehicle.
• Perform required daily preventive maintenance on the assigned company vehicle.
• Participate in predetermined rotating on-call coverage during the week and on weekends.
• Accept additional duties and activities as assigned.

Requirements

• Maintain a positive attitude at all times.
• Understand that DME Express operates 24/7 with a predetermined rotating on-call schedule.
• Have a clean driving record.
• Able to lift 75 pounds on a daily basis.
• Willing to perform additional duties and activities as assigned.
• No previous experience is required. Training will be provided to the right candidates.

Pay

Hourly wage ranging from $18 to $19.
