About the role

As a Domino's Pizza Delivery Driver, you will deliver orders to designated locations on time with punctuality and honesty. You will also be responsible for maintaining the delivery vehicle, assisting in food preparation, taking customer orders, and performing cleaning duties. The role involves lifting up to 50 pounds and rotating food shipments. You must be knowledgeable about product details, services, charges, and other relevant information to assist customers as needed.

This position may require working outdoors in various temperatures, in noisy environments, near moving mechanical parts, and with dangerous equipment or sharp tools. The job can be physically demanding, involving repetitive hand use, prolonged standing, bending, twisting, reaching, crouching, stooping, or kneeling.

Responsibilities

• Pre-delivery vehicle preparations
• Learning the delivery area
• Checking orders for quality and accuracy
• Providing quality customer service through positive and professional interaction with customers in person or by phone
• Food preparation and packaging
• Taking orders and collecting payments
• Cleaning and maintenance of the store and its equipment
• Rotating commissary deliveries

Requirements

• Attention to detail

• Customer-focused with strong initiative
• Cash management skills
• 18 years of age or older
• Valid driver's license for two or more years in the state where you work
• Acceptable motor vehicle report/driving abstract (no more than two moving violations and one accident in the last year; no DUI or speeding tickets over 24 mph)
• Insured and satisfactory vehicle
• Ability to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and as emergencies arise
• Willingness to learn and be cross-trained to perform other duties within the restaurant

Pay

Wage for all Delivery Drivers is minimum wage, plus tips and $0.44 per mile driven on shift. Pay range: $17.13–$17.63.
