About the role

We are currently seeking an experienced Delivery Driver & Logistics Specialist to support our operations in San Jose, California. This role involves:

• Pickup and delivery of customer equipment
• Driving a Trescal van for deliveries and pickups
• Loading and unloading vehicles before and after deliveries
• Inventorying client assets upon pick-up
• Maintaining vehicle maintenance needs
• Organizing and cleaning assigned areas or vehicles
• Maintaining records as required by the quality system
• Appropriately packaging and shipping equipment
• Verifying accessories and options according to shipping policies
• Handling inbound orders, verifying contents, and identifying discrepancies and damage
• Generating shipping labels using UPS and FedEx
• Maintaining relationships with UPS, FedEx, and other parcel service providers
• Performing database equipment entry and validations
• Verifying manufacturer/model/serial numbers and customer requirements
• Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Valid driver's license in state of residence and good/clean driving record
• Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and listening)
• Proficient computer skills, including data entry
• Good attention to detail
• Previous work experience in shipping, receiving, and delivery driving
• Experience with shipping software such as FedEx and/or UPS
• Previous experience dealing with customers
