Delivery Driver/Laborer - Commercial Construction

About the role

Pepper Construction Company of Ohio is adding a part-time delivery driver to our team. You will be joining an organization with nearly 100 years of experience, dedicated to improving people's quality of life through construction. Our projects span Industrial, K-12 and Higher Education, Corporate Office, Healthcare, and Mission Critical sectors.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a wide variety of construction supplies to job sites in the Central Ohio area
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate a delivery vehicle
• Maintain and build customer relationships with a professional demeanor
• Possess proven problem-solving solutions to ensure timely and customer-focused deliveries
• Maintain clean equipment
• Assist with miscellaneous work needs in the warehouse
• Other duties, as assigned

Requirements

• Working experience as a Delivery Driver in a commercial setting
• Knowledge and experience in the building materials/construction industry (preferred)
• Valid professional driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Class A CDL license
• General mechanical and maintenance knowledge (a plus but not required)
• Able to lift up to 50lb
• Reliable, hardworking, with a professional and courteous attitude

All new hires are required to pass a drug screen and background check.

Pay

This position pays weekly.
