Xerox Corporation is an information services technology company that has continually redefined the workplace experience for more than 100 years is currently seeking a Delivery Driver / Installation Specialist to support the Greater San Antonio areas.
What You Will Do
- Operate an automatic box truck in a safe and timely manner, including daily inspection of the vehicle
- Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record
- Load, deliver, install and collect equipment at various customer locations
- Provide excellent customer service
- The associate will need to be flexible with overnight stays to meet client and company needs
- Work in a team environment with other truck drivers and Warehouse personnel
- Perform all paperwork for deliveries and removals
- Unload trucks same day and load for the next day
- Connect printer peripherals so that the Multi-Function Devices and Printer deliveries can pass paper
- Provide basic customer training on copiers, printers and other office technology equipment
- Perform general technical duties such as connecting equipment to network cables and fax lines
- Assist in other areas of the warehouse when needed
What You Need to Succeed
- Valid Driver’s License with a relatively clean driving record
- One (1) or more years of experience driving a 16’ – 26’ box delivery truck preferred but not required – we provide the training!
- Ability to lift 50 – 75 lbs., push, pull, or roll copiers on flat ground and inclines
- Basic mechanical understanding preferred
- Experience using Microsoft applications and the Internet
- Excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills
