Responsibilities

• Operate all store equipment.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler.
• Prepare product and receive/process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
• Navigate and locate addresses within the designated delivery area, including multi-story buildings.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle for deliveries.
• Navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses.

Skills

• Ability to comprehend and give correct written and verbal instructions.
• Strong communication skills for processing orders over the phone and in person.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) for handling monetary transactions.
• Motor coordination for rapid and precise movements (e.g., entering orders via keyboard or touch screen).
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions, including exposure to weather, food odors, and cramped spaces.

Work Conditions

• Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when performing outside tasks.
• In-store temperatures range from 36°F in coolers to 90°F or higher in work areas.
• Exposure to fumes, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces (up to 500°F), sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.
• Tasks require standing for extended periods, walking short distances, and occasional sitting for paperwork.
• Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds, carrying trays of dough (12 pounds each), and pushing/pulling dollies with stacks of trays.
• Infrequent climbing of stairs or ladders for maintenance or sign changes.
