Delivery Driver - Full-Time

About the role

Responsible for safely transporting and delivering products from the warehouse to customers, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries according to company standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer units and unload products using appropriate equipment in all weather conditions.
• Complete paperwork accurately, including logs, inspections, and invoices.
• Maintain food safety and sanitary standards in vehicles and warehouse.
• Develop customer relationships through courteous service and effective communication.
• Report route, trailer, or product issues to management and ensure proper handling of damaged goods and returns.
• Adhere to safety protocols, operate equipment properly, and follow company policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; tractor trailer driving experience preferred.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License and insurability.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, safety practices, and handling hazardous materials.
• Ability to operate large vehicles, communicate effectively, solve problems, and perform basic math.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, push/pull heavy loads, and work in various environments.

Work Environment

Involves driving in diverse conditions, occasional exposure to extreme weather, mechanical parts, and airborne particles. Requires flexibility for overnight shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime to meet customer needs.
