Responsibilities

• Deliver orders using an insured vehicle with a safe driving record.
• Navigate to addresses within the designated delivery area, including multi-story buildings and adverse terrain.
• Operate store equipment and prepare product.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler.
• Receive and process telephone orders, both over the phone and in person.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle for deliveries.
• Navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written and verbal instructions.
• Strong communication skills for processing orders over the phone and in person.
• Basic math skills for making correct monetary change and handling transactions.
• Motor coordination for rapid and accurate movements (e.g., entering orders via keyboard or touch screen).

Work Conditions

• Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when performing outside tasks.
• In-store temperatures range from 36°F in coolers to 90°F+ in work areas, with sudden temperature changes.
• Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters, and hot surfaces/tools (up to 500°F or higher).
• Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts in the work environment.

Physical Requirements

• Standing: Most tasks are performed from a standing position.
• Walking: Short distances for short durations on surfaces like ceramic tile or linoleum.
• Sitting: Paperwork is completed at a desk or table.
• Lifting: Unloading bulk deliveries (up to 50 lbs) and stacking onto shelves up to 72" high.
• Carrying: Large cans (3 lbs, 7 oz), pizza sauce (30 lbs), and trays of pizza dough (12 lbs per tray).
• Pushing/Pulling: Moving trays on dollies (requiring up to 7.5 lbs of force).
• Climbing: Infrequent use of stairs or ladders for tasks like changing signs or maintenance.

Sensory and Temperament Requirements

• Sensing: Talking/hearing on the phone, near/mid-range vision, depth perception, and ability to differentiate hot/cold surfaces.
• Temperaments: Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone or with others, and make judgments/decisions.
