About the role
As a Delivery Expert, you are the mechanism for delivering fast and delectably delicious pizzas to our hungry customers. Enthusiastic customer communication, a positive personality, punctuality, and a sense of urgency are essential to success in this role. You are the face of the brand, so maintaining a professional appearance in accordance with Domino’s and Team Our Dream Pizza Inc. image standards is required.
Responsibilities
- Navigate and locate addresses within the designated delivery area, including diverse terrain such as multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.
- Direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, and meet strict quality control standards.
- Coordinate with coworkers and customers, analyze and compile data, and make sound ethical judgments and decisions in a timely manner.
- Take inventory, stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk-in or reach-in cooler, and complete associated paperwork.
- Receive and process telephone orders expeditiously to ensure customer satisfaction and timely pizza delivery.
- Perform basic arithmetic (add, subtract, multiply, divide) accurately and quickly, including making correct monetary change.
- Utilize a computer keyboard, touch screen, and foot-paddle.
Physical Requirements
- Daily tasks are performed from a standing position, with the majority of the shift spent on your feet.
- Walking surfaces include ceramic tile and linoleum in some food process areas.
- Work surfaces range in height from 36" to 4”.
- Unload bulk product deliveries (two to three times per week), which may weigh up to 50 pounds and require lifting and/or stacking.
- Occasionally crouch, squat, stoop, bend, or use stairs while performing job tasks.
- Hand-eye coordination required for shaping pizza dough, maneuvering pizza peel and cutter, and folding cardboard pizza boxes.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must have a valid driver's license and one year of driving history.
- Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
- Must pass a Motor Vehicle Record Check, meeting company-specific standards.
