About the role

Deliver tire orders to local customers in a timely, accurate, and safe fashion.

Responsibilities

• Drive delivery truck along local routes to deliver tire orders
• Assure accurate loads and deliveries
• Receive, unpack, check, and store tires
• Fill requisitions and orders, preparing inventory for delivery
• Assist with loading/unloading of orders
• Safely operate forklifts, squeeze lifts, and order pickers
• Maintain a clean warehouse and delivery vehicle
• Protect company assets
• Embrace Purcell’s culture of safety and perform all jobs in a safe manner
• Regular attendance in accordance with assigned schedule
• Perform physical requirements as listed in job description
• Other essential and non-essential duties, as assigned by management

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license

• Operating Vehicles, Mechanized Devices, or Equipment: Running, maneuvering, navigating, or driving vehicles or mechanized equipment such as forklifts, squeeze lifts, and order pickers.
• Customer Service: Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services, including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
• Handling and Moving Objects: Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things.
• English Language: Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language, including meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
