Delivery Driver - DOT

Essential Duties

• Help control and manage inventory
• Inspect condition of tools and equipment and maintain check out and return log
• Enforce all company rules and regulations
• Ensure a high degree of detail and focus on every job
• Communicate with Warehouse and Project Managers to ensure efficient delivery of products
• Prepare outgoing materials, parts, or products to ship to customers and vendors
• Maintain a clean work area, including the exterior of the branch
• Organize and keep the receiving area, staging area, shelving, and aisles neat
• Receive product, check quantities against packing list, and record any discrepancies
• Prepare receiving reports and note any shortages or damages
• Operate a hand truck, forklift, or other heavy equipment
• Maintain all vehicles and forklifts and inspect them daily
• Participate in physical inventory and cycle counting processes when needed
• Maintain DOT requirements
• Deliver and pick up equipment and materials to the jobsite

Qualifications

• A high school diploma is required
• A valid SC driver’s license is required
• Excellent problem-solving skills are essential
• Impeccable written and verbal communication skills are required
• The ability to work with all levels of staff is important
• Forklift certification is a plus
