Delivery Driver (Class C)

PACE Supply is seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Class C Driver to join our team in Kahului, Hawaii. As a leading wholesale distributor of plumbing, HVAC, and industrial supplies, we are committed to delivering exceptional service to our customers while fostering a culture of integrity, teamwork, and growth.

Responsibilities

• Route Planning
• Strategically plan delivery routes, taking into account traffic, weather, and road conditions to ensure timely deliveries.
• Loading and Unloading
• Aid with the loading and unloading of cargo, ensuring items are properly secured to prevent damage during transit.
• Vehicle Inspections
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify any mechanical or safety issues, ensuring the vehicle is roadworthy.
• Communication
• Cook with dispatch and customers to confirm delivery schedules, adjust for changes, and provide updates as needed.
• Documentation Management
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, bills of lading, and other required documentation, ensuring all records are compliant with company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Regulatory Compliance
• Adhere to hours-of-service regulations, taking required breaks to ensure compliance with safety standards and avoid fatigue-related risks.
• Vehicle Security
• Ensure that the vehicle and its cargo are properly secured and safe for operation at all times.
• Maintenance Reporting
• Report any maintenance or repair needs promptly to ensure vehicles remain in optimal operating condition.
• Vehicle Cleanliness
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, both inside and out, to uphold a professional appearance and ensure safety.

Requirements

• Licensed & Experienced
• Valid Drivers License with no more than 3 points and knowledge of DOT regulations.
• Customer-Focused
• Friendly, professional, and respectful when interacting with clients.
• Reliable & Safety-Oriented
• Committed to safe driving practices and daily vehicle inspections.
• Physically Capable
• Able to load/unload materials and assist with deliveries as needed.
