About the role

We seek CDL Drivers who can transport construction equipment efficiently and safely. Key responsibilities include loading, unloading, and securing equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining accurate logs.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading equipment using proper tools and techniques
• Tying down and securing cargo according to company policies and federal regulations
• Completing pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections
• Maintaining accurate logs and following safety protocols
• Communicating with customers to ensure a positive delivery experience
• Addressing concerns promptly and courteously
• Maintaining customer understanding of safety features and equipment operation
• Safely operating commercial vehicles and adhering to DOT regulations

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Class A driver's license with medical certification
• 2+ years of tractor-trailer driving experience preferred
• Clean driving record with no moving violations
• Pass background check and drug test
• Comfortable maneuvering and parking a tractor-trailer
• Alert, focused, and detail-oriented
• Physically and mentally fit
• Strong eyesight and hearing

Qualifications

• Ability to work flexible shifts
• Comfortable around large equipment and elevated positions
• Lifting heavy materials up to 50+ pounds
• Prolonged standing and walking on uneven surfaces
• Climbing in and out of trucks and onto trailers
• Safety-conscious and able to work from heights
• Dexterous for tie-downs, controls, and documentation
