Delivery Driver - CDL B
About the role
White Cap is hiring immediately for a CDL B Driver. As a CDL Driver at White Cap, you’ll coordinate and deliver products to customer jobsites, ensuring accurate manifests and paperwork. You may use a truck-mounted forklift (Moffett or Piggyback) to unload shipments and assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders for shipment. This role operates under DOT regulations with a strong emphasis on safety.
Responsibilities
- Deliver products to customer jobsites.
- Operate a truck-mounted forklift (Moffett or Piggyback) to unload shipments at customer jobsites.
- Follow DOT regulations, perform vehicle maintenance, and prioritize safety.
- Ensure manifests and all paperwork are accurate.
- Assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders for shipment.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum of one year of CDL Driving experience.
- Valid state CDL license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with applicable endorsements and a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Experience delivering construction, industrial, building materials, or other heavy products to customer locations.
- Experience operating truck-mounted forklifts (Moffett/Piggyback), forklifts, or other material handling equipment.
- Strong commitment to safety, including knowledge of DOT regulations, vehicle inspections, cargo securement, and safe driving practices.
- Customer-focused mindset with professional communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships at jobsites and delivery locations.
- Experience handling delivery documentation, manifests, bills of lading, and other transportation-related paperwork with accuracy.
- Ability to support warehouse operations, including loading, unloading, order preparation, and inventory movement.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) proficiency is a plus.
