Delivery Driver

Responsibilities

• Pick up and drop off automotive parts while adhering to assigned routes and time schedules.
• Ensure orders are properly fulfilled and satisfy customers.
• Review orders before and after delivery to confirm completeness, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
• Take and follow directions from the dispatcher, adhere to assigned routes, and use alternative routes when necessary.
• Load, transport, and deliver items to customers or businesses in a timely, friendly, and courteous manner.
• Assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles without disrupting operations at the customer's place of business.
• Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and professionally handle complaints and concerns from customers.
• Absorb and comply with all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Accept payments, prepare reports, reconcile debt and credit, and collect moneys related to deliveries.
• Complete daily maintenance checks on company delivery vehicles and report any issues to the manager.
• Assist with any and all other store/warehouse duties (such as stock, parts pulling) as assigned.
• Maintain and promote workplace safety.
• Secure and transfer cash or other assets.

Qualifications

• Current, valid driver’s license.
• Ability to meet company insurance requirements (must be 21 years old or over).
• Current valid automobile insurance with your name on the policy.
• Ability to lift, move, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, and prolonged sitting (for Auto Body Parts Collision Drivers, must be able to lift 75 lbs).
• Knowledge, skills, and abilities as outlined in the "Knowledge, Skills and Abilities" section.
• Previous delivery driving experience is a plus.
