About the role

As a Delivery Driver at Aaron’s, you’ll engage in a dynamic, hands-on position that goes beyond a typical desk job. Responsibilities include driving, installing, demonstrating merchandise, and assisting customers. This store-based role also involves supporting the store with moving, installing, and picking up merchandise. Each day offers variety and the chance to connect with community members.

This role can serve as the first step in a rewarding career path, with opportunities for advancement such as Customer Accounts Advisor, Sales Manager, Customer Accounts Manager, and General Manager.

Responsibilities

• Load, secure, and protect merchandise for delivery
• Offload, install, and demonstrate merchandise to customers
• Safely operate a delivery vehicle
• Assist in-store as needed

Requirements

• Solid communication skills
• Working knowledge of electronics
• Desire to help customers
• Must be at least 21 years old (18 in Canada)
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must meet DOT requirements for certification (U.S.)
• Able to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs. without help and 300 lbs. with a dolly (training and tools provided)
• Able to work in all outdoor weather conditions, including rain and extreme heat
• Valid driver’s license required (CDL not required)
• No overnight travel

Pay

The salary range for this role is $14.25 to $15.00 per hour. The final pay within this range will depend on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

Note: No amount of pay is considered earned, vested, or determinable until it is paid. Bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation remain at the Company’s discretion and may be modified consistent with the law.
