Delivery Driver

About the role
This store-based position keeps Aaron’s moving. You’ll be inside, outside, driving, installing, demonstrating merchandise, and supporting the store. Every day is different, connecting you with people in the community. Being a Delivery Driver can be the first step on a great career path at Aaron’s, with opportunities to grow into roles like Customer Accounts Advisor, Sales Manager, Customer Accounts Manager, or General Manager.
Responsibilities
- Load, secure, and protect merchandise
- Offload, install, and demonstrate merchandise
- Safely operate delivery vehicle
- Assist in store when needed
Requirements
- Solid communication skills
- Working knowledge of electronics
- Desire to help customers
- Must be at least 21 years old (18 in Canada)
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must meet DOT requirements for certification (U.S.)
- Able to perform physical job duties, including lifting up to 50 lbs. without help and 300 lbs. with a dolly (training and tools provided)
- Able to work in all outdoor weather conditions, including rain or summer sun
- Valid driver’s license required (CDL not required)
- No overnight travel
Pay
The salary range for this role is $14.75 to $15.50 per hour. The final pay within this range will depend on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, shift, and business needs. Bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation remain at the company’s discretion and may be modified consistent with the law.
