Delivery Driver

Responsibilities

• Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
• Assist with loading and unloading items from delivery vehicles
• Manage multiple orders, delivery locations, and customers simultaneously
• Deliver orders within an optimal timeframe while respecting customer preferences
• Safely operate a vehicle in all types of weather conditions
• Map out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most efficient trip
• Navigate local streets and highways efficiently using GPS
• Communicate clearly with customers and resolve any issues or points of confusion
• Verify orders before each delivery and maintain a detailed delivery log
• Prepare reports and other documents relating to deliveries
• Schedule regular vehicle service appointments and report any issues
• Book car wash and detailing services to maintain vehicle cleanliness
• Perform other tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Candidates must be at least 25+ years old
• Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and clean driving record
• Previous delivery or customer service experience in any industry
• Familiarity with the local area, including streets, highways, and places
• Proven track record of succeeding in time-sensitive situations
• Complete a pre-employment background check and drug test
